- When You Access Our Services
By accessing the Psychoknowmics website or booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined on this page. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions, we request that you do not use our website or services.
- What We Offer
Psychoknowmics provides psychotherapy and counseling services, including individual therapy, couples counseling, family counseling, workshops, and training programs.
Our work is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Single-Session Therapy (SST), attachment-informed work, and other Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)-based approaches, depending on the client’s needs.
- Appointments and Session Guidelines
Appointments are scheduled in advance through mutual agreement and are confirmed only after payment is received.
Individual sessions are typically 50–60 minutes, while couples and family sessions are typically 90 minutes, unless otherwise specified.
Clients are requested to attend sessions on time. If you join late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. In case of an unexpected delay from the therapist’s side, you will be informed about the approximate waiting time.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment. If a session is rescheduled, the same cancellation policy will apply to the new appointment slot. The therapist also reserves the right to request rescheduling in the event of illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Payment Policy
Advance online payment is required to confirm an appointment.
Session fees and payment details will be communicated in advance. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment are eligible for a full refund. Late cancellations, missed appointments, and no-shows are non-refundable.
We request that clients respect the appointment and payment policy, as a late cancellation or no-show affects the therapist, the client, and other clients who may be waiting for an appointment.
- How We Handle Confidentiality
All conversations and information shared in therapy are treated with strict confidentiality.
However, confidentiality may be broken without prior consent in the following situations:
- if there is a risk of self-harmÂ
- if there is a risk of harm to another personÂ
- if disclosure is required by law or legal authorityÂ
- if the client has provided informed consent for information to be sharedÂ
- Ethical and Professional Practice
Psychoknowmics provides psychotherapy and counseling services within the scope of professional training and ethical practice. Our services are intended to support emotional and psychological well-being and are not a substitute for emergency medical care, psychiatric emergency services, or crisis intervention.
If you are experiencing a crisis, suicidal thoughts, risk of harm, or any psychiatric emergency, please contact emergency services, a nearby hospital, or an appropriate crisis support service immediately.
- Your Responsibilities as a Client
Clients are expected to provide accurate and updated information, attend sessions responsibly, communicate respectfully, and follow the clinic’s policies related to appointments, payments, and cancellations.
Psychoknowmics reserves the right to discontinue services in cases of abusive, threatening, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour toward therapists, staff, or others.
